Our Roots

E.F. Thresh Inc., based in East Syracuse, NY was founded in 1955 by Eric F. Thresh. Eric was born in Montreal, Canada and came to the U.S. at the age of 19. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and after returning home, he decided to pursue his dream of owning a business.

Eric started E.F. Thresh Inc. in a 16’x15’ space attached to Dexter’s Garage on the corner of Seneca Turnpike and South Salina Street in Syracuse. In 1958, he built a new facility in East Syracuse, where the business is currently located.

William (Bill) Thresh - President/CEO

Bill, a second-generation woodworker, was born and raised into the wood manufacturing industry. From a young age, Bill worked with his father, Eric, and millwork masters from all over Europe to excel his skills in woodworking.

With his immaculate skills in architecture, construction and manufacturing, Bill is committed to providing the best service to his customers.
